Joel Laviolette and Rattletree with generous support of the City of Austin Cultural Arts Division present: The Earth Loves You, a fun, high-energy, all-ages show fusing traditional African music played on GIANT xylophones, electronic dance music, and a backdrop of whimsical sculpture and psychedelic video projection mapping.
The show features a playful set crafted by, Dale Whistler, one of Austin Monthly's " 7 Great People Who Made Austin What It Is Today". Whistler's iconic sculptures, including Nightwing, the kinetic bat that graces the south side of the Congress St. Bridge, keep Austin weird.
Rattletree teamed up with local costume design company, ECHOWEAR, known best for their work with Quixotic, Golden Dawn Arkestra, and Art Outside to create a whole new look for the show.
